Yasin Söyler graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 2004. Completed a master’s degree at Gazi University Faculty of Law and received the title of doctor in 2013 at the same faculty by defending the doctoral thesis “Regulation of Internet Content from the Perspective of Public Law and the State’s Power to Impose Administrative Sanctions in This Field”. Received the title of associate professor in 2019 with the thesis “The Presidential Decree in the New Presidential System” and the title of professor in 2024 with the thesis “Imitation and Adulteration of Food and the Regime of Administrative Sanctions”.

Has four published books: Kamu Hukuku Açısından Devletin İnterneti Düzenleme Yetkisi, Mevzuat Yapım Hukuku ve Başbakanlığın Hukuksal Rolü, Yeni Başkanlık Sisteminde Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kararnamesi and Gıdada Taklit/Tağşiş ve İdari Yaptırım Rejimi.

Began a career in the civil service in 2005 as an Assistant Expert at the Prime Ministry and continued as a Prime Ministry Expert; upon the abolition of the Prime Ministry in 2018 was assigned as a Rapporteur at the Directorate General of Law and Legislation of the Presidency. Having taken an active part in many legislative projects during this period, Söyler was appointed associate professor in the Department of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law of Social Sciences University of Ankara in 2020 and professor in 2024.

Serves as Vice Rector, member of the Senate, member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Ethics Committee of ASBU.

Prof. Dr. Söyler is married, the father of two children and speaks English.
