Lecturer Erman EROĞLU

Erman Eroğlu received his LL.B. degree from Ankara University Faculty of Law. Following his graduation, he worked as an attorney in Istanbul and then as a research fellow at Uludağ University with a focus on international law. During his time as a research fellow, he was awarded with a prestigious scholarship from the Republic of Turkey to pursue his graduate education in the United States of America. He attended the one-year academic research and writing program at The University of Texas at Austin, which was followed by his legal studies at Boston University School of Law and Penn State Law. He received an education with an emphasis on international arbitration and earned his LL.M. degree specializing in international business law. He worked as a foreign student assistant during his doctoral studies at Case Western Reserve University. In 2021, he earned his doctoral degree upon successful defense of his dissertation on international construction arbitration. Currently, he is a faculty member at the School of Law at Social Sciences University of Ankara. Dr. Eroğlu’s teaching, writing, practice, and research focus on private international law, international commercial dispute resolution, and Turkish law of foreigners.
