ABOUT QUALITY
The Faculty of Law carries out its teaching and learning, research and development, community service and governance processes within the quality assurance system of Ankara Social Sciences University. Quality work is planned on the basis of the Regulation on Higher Education Quality Assurance and the Higher Education Quality Council together with the quality policy of the University, and it is monitored and evaluated by the Unit Quality Commission.
The Faculty aims to develop an understanding of law that produces theory in the social sciences and gives priority to the needs of society. To that end it seeks to educate lawyers who can identify social problems and propose solutions to them, who observe universal legal values, whose reasoning skills are well developed and who have sufficient research ability in their field. The extent to which the degree programmes, the research activities and the administrative processes serve this aim is reviewed regularly through institutional internal evaluation reports, unit activity reports, stakeholder surveys and quality commission meetings.
