The ASBU Faculty of Law aims to provide an education of a quality that will raise our University and our country to the position of producers of knowledge. The Faculty has designed its programmes with a view both to producing theory with a new understanding in the field of the social sciences and to developing an understanding of law that gives priority to the needs and problems of our society.

In this context, the aim is to educate lawyers who are able to identify social problems and propose solutions to them, who observe universal legal values, who create and protect a democratic environment, whose reasoning skills are well developed and who possess sufficient legal knowledge and research skills in their field.

Alongside the undergraduate law programme, thirty per cent of which is taught in English, the Faculty offers doctoral education in four programmes and master’s education in nine programmes.
