Mediation Training
Definition and Legal Basis
Mediation is a method by which the parties resolve their disputes voluntarily with the assistance of an independent and impartial mediator. Our programmes are conducted under Law No. 6325 on Mediation in Civil Disputes and the relevant Regulation, with the authorisation of the Ministry of Justice and through the ARASİS system.

- Specialist Mediation Training: labour, commercial and consumer law, together with banking and finance, insurance, health, construction, energy and mining, and intellectual and industrial property law
Content and Duration
The Basic Training lasts 84 hours in total. Alongside theoretical instruction covering basic legal knowledge, communication and negotiation techniques, dispute analysis and resolution methods, and the mediation process and rules of ethics, it includes practical training. Refresher and specialist mediation programmes are delivered over the periods determined by the Ministry of Justice.
Who May Apply?
- Being a graduate of a faculty of law and a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye
- Having five years of professional seniority (for the Basic Training)
- Being a mediator registered in the mediation registry (for specialist programmes)
Teaching Staff
Members of academic staff registered and authorised in ARASİS, together with practising mediator trainers.

Certificate
Participants who complete the programme receive a certificate approved by the Ministry of Justice and viewable through e-Devlet.
