Completed undergraduate studies at Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1996 and the legal internship at the Ankara Bar Association in 1997. In 1998 went to Germany as a Ministry of National Education scholar and learned German at the Carl Duisberg Centrum in Munich between 1998 and 1999. Completed a master’s degree in Germany (Juristische Fakultät, Bayerische Julius-Maximilians-Universität) between 1999 and 2001. On 1 August 2001 began working as a research assistant in the Department of Civil Law at Marmara University Faculty of Law. Completed doctoral studies at the Institute of Social Sciences of Marmara University between 2002 and 2008 and continued as a research assistant with a doctorate. Was appointed assistant professor in 2011 and received the title of associate professor in 2017. Has been working at the Faculty of Law of Social Sciences University of Ankara since 21 June 2019.
