The graduation ceremony of our Faculty of Law for the 2025-2026 academic year was held with the participation of academic staff, students and their families. At the ceremony, where the joy of graduation and academic achievement were shared, our students took their first steps into professional life on successfully completing their legal education.

The programme opened with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, followed by addresses from our Dean, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Bilge, and the Vice-Rector of ASBU, Prof. Dr. Yasin Söyler. The speakers expressed confidence that the graduates would carry into professional life the scholarly knowledge, legal understanding and ethical values acquired during their university years, and emphasised that they would assume significant responsibilities as lawyers contributing to the administration of justice.

Sefa Alp, the top-ranking graduate of the faculty, spoke on behalf of the graduating students. Following his address he was presented with a plaque and a certificate of honour, and the traditional ceremony of driving a nail into the commemorative log was held. Celil Şahin, ranked second, and Abdullah Geyik, ranked third, also received certificates of achievement and were congratulated on their academic performance.

Diplomas were then presented to the graduating students by members of the academic staff. The programme ended with the taking of the lawyer’s oath, a group photograph and the traditional throwing of caps.

The graduates of the ASBU Faculty of Law, educated in accordance with the principles of the rule of law, justice, ethical responsibility and public benefit, were congratulated and wished every success in their professional and academic careers.
