Born in Istanbul in 1978. Began undergraduate studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1994 and graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law and from Marmara University Faculty of Theology. After completing a master’s degree in philosophy at the Institute of Social Sciences of Marmara University in 2003, completed a doctorate in sociology at the same institute in 2010. Has worked in many active areas of legal practice, including private practice as an attorney, public-sector attorney, legal counsel and professional trade unionism.
