On 25 February 2025 a cooperation protocol in the field of maritime law was signed between Ankara Social Sciences University (ASBU) and the National Research Centre for Maritime Law of Ankara University (DEHUKAM).

The protocol aims to strengthen cooperation in education and scientific research in the field of maritime law. The parties will carry out joint projects in academic and scientific work and in educational activities directed at the formation of Turkish maritime law policy and at the development and application of the existing legislation.

The cooperation is intended to increase Türkiye’s academic and practical capacity in the field of maritime law.
