Dr. Melikşah Çırakoğlu graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Law in 2012. In 2013 he began working as a research assistant in the Department of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University and continued in this position in the Department of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University between 2014 and 2022. He completed his master’s degree in 2015 in the Department of Public Law at the Institute of Social Sciences of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University with the thesis “Blocking of Internet Access and the Association of Access Providers”. In the same year he began the doctoral programme in public law at the same institute and completed it in 2022 with the dissertation “Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement in Türkiye and Comparative Country Examples”. Since 2022 he has been working as an assistant professor in the Department of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law of Social Sciences University of Ankara. He is married and has two children.
