Dr. Hayrunnisa Altın Şahin completed undergraduate studies at İ. D. Bilkent University Faculty of Law in 2015. In the same year, began the master’s programme with thesis in private law at the Institute of Social Sciences of Ankara University and was subsequently appointed as a research assistant in the Department of Civil Law at Social Sciences University of Ankara. Completed the master’s degree in 2017 with the thesis “The Tenant’s Provision of Security in Leases of Residential and Roofed Business Premises” (Konut ve Çatılı İşyeri Kiralarında Kiracının Güvence Vermesi). Then began doctoral studies in the private law doctoral programme of the Institute of Social Sciences of Ankara University and completed the doctorate in 2022 with the thesis “The Debtor’s Inability to Perform in Bilateral Contracts under the Turkish Code of Obligations” (Türk Borçlar Kanunu Çerçevesinde Karşılıklı Borç Yükleyen Sözleşmelerde Borçlunun İfa Güçsüzlüğü). Currently serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Civil Law at Social Sciences University of Ankara.
